Daisy R. Barocio was born in Michoacan, Mexico and grew up in a small farm town California’s beautiful central coast. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University in Psychology with a focus on Child Development & Language Acquisition. She later received her Master of Arts degree from the University of Southern California with a focus on Elementary School Education and obtained her California administrative credential.

Rogelio M. Ruíz is a 1990 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, and he was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 1990. Mr. Ruíz is admitted to practice before all California State Courts; the Federal District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California, and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Andrés Quintero is a life long resident of East San Jose. Andrés attended various east side schools and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. After graduating from Evergreen Valley College, Andrés transferred to San Jose State University where he earned a BA in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration degree. Andres serves on the Political Science faculty at Evergreen Valley College.

Raul Peralez is a lifelong resident of San José, a graduate of downtown’s very own San José State University, and as a former San José Police Officer, he can wholeheartedly say that he is an advocate and champion for our city through and through.

Lennies is the Director of External Affairs for Comcast for the South Bay and Southern Peninsula areas since February 2010 and previously worked on legislation for 10 years at the California State Capitol. She is an active board member of the Redwood City/San Mateo County and San Jose Silicon Valley Chambers of Commerce.

Kimberley Rocha was born and raised in East Side San Jose. She graduated from Silver Creek High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from San José State University. She is currently working on her Masters of Educational Counseling degree. She has been a member of the LLA since 2008. She is currently the Community Liaison at Adelante Dual Language Academy.
